LifeRamp partners with Alabama Center for Real Estate at The University of Alabama on its ground-breaking REimagined diversity initiative, designed to empower over 100,000 young adults of color in the field of real estate by 2030.

Annapolis, Maryland – April 30th, LifeRamp is excited to announce a new strategic partnership with the Alabama Center for Real Estate (ACRE), a research center housed within the Culverhouse College of Business at The University of Alabama.  The partnership will support the groundbreaking REIMAGINED initiative, designed to prepare and increase the participation of young African Americans and people of color in real estate careers. The first stage of the partnership will be to launch a two-month credential program called CORE, Career Opportunities in Real Estate. This inaugural program offering will provide black and other people of color with targeted life and career coaching coupled with soft skill building programming to explore, participate and lead in corporate and residential real estate careers.

LifeRamp is a leading-edge coach-powered betterment technology company that provides college students and young professionals all the support and tools they need to transition into a career and life they love.  The company’s collaboration with ACRE on the REIMAGINED initiative will help address the current wide diversity and equality gaps in the $2 trillion-plus real estate industry.

LifeRamp Founder and CEO Michael Huckaby said “it’s really exciting to be a part of the REIMAGINED initiative, and to see the vision and commitment of the Alabama Center for Real Estate, The University of Alabama and local leaders coming together on this effort to create more diversity, equity, and inclusion in such an important part of the U.S. economy.  We hope through the REIMAGINED initiative to have not only a significant positive impact on young people in the state and in the south, but ultimately across the country.”

ACRE Executive Director Grayson Glaze said “we are excited to partner with LifeRamp as a leading-edge technology company that shares our passion for providing life and career coaching to young adults. The support and tools offered by LifeRamp will help us meet our goal of empowering over 100,000 young adults from underrepresented groups in the field of real estate by 2030.”

LifeRamp’s Chief Partnership officer John Beed said “every business, organization, or entity benefits greatly from diversity and inclusion.  It’s not just about being fair and just.  If you want to be successful in any business or endeavor, diverse teams are more innovative and more able to solve complex problems in today’s world.  We’re truly honored to be a part of Alabama’s REIMAGINED initiative, and their effort to diversify the real estate industry.”
